Blue Ice: Online Faceting Designs and Diagrams
Jeff Graham’s Blue Ice gem design is easy to cut. It performs well for gems with low refractive indices like beryl and quartz. It’s a great choice for medium to light-colored stones.
You can find cutting instructions for Blue Ice here.
Cutting Remarks
This gem design is easy to cut. However, it can be hard to polish because of the large facets and keel.
Cut a preform length to width ratio (L/W) = 3.000. P6, P7 are there to help prevent chips, no meets.
Enjoy cutting your "Blue Ice."
